Jameson Baxter (Peter Thorkelson) - Jameson is excited to be back working with New Breath Productions after appearing two summers ago in The Wind in the Willows.  Earning his BA in theatre from Concordia University-Saint Paul, Jameson has also performed with Mounds View Community Theatre and the MN Fringe Festival.  Up next you can find him making his debut with the MN Chorale at Orchestra Hall Sept. 26th & 27th.  Jameson currently resides in the Minneapolis area and sends his many thanks out to Mom, Dad, Katy and Sam who continue to be an incredible and unwavering support.

Jennifer Diehart (Aunt Trina) - is excited to be in her first New Breath production. Last year Jennifer traveled as a Tour Actor/Director with the Missoula Children's Theatre, working with amazing kids throughout the country. Favorite past roles include "Lucy" (Snoopy) and "Marina" (Uncle Vanya). Jennifer is now working for the Minnesota Reading Corps and will continue performing in her free time. She sends love and thanks to her cast mates and her parents!

Abby Fields (Johanna) - Abby is an 8th grader at Marcy Open School in Minneapolis, where she is active in the performing arts programs. She is so very excited to play Johanna, one of her favorites of the roles she has played so far! This is her second year with New Breath. Since moving to the Twin Cities in 2003, Abby has experienced her fair share of performances. She is currently a member of the Twin Cities Girls Chorus. She has performed in the National Tour of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat, which was an absolutely AMAZING experience for her. She has also soloed at Orchestra Hall! Abby just finished a Fringe Festival show called Snip, Snap, Snute, in which she played a changeling troll. What a change between that show and this. Abby dreams of a career in musical theater.

Al Fiene (Mr. McGuire) - Al is excited to be making his New Breath debut.  He was just seen in Top Hat Theatre's Fringe Festival production Robin Hood the Musical (Friar Tuck)  and recently in Sabes JCC’s world premier of The Fence (Bashir Nemi).  Regional Theatre credits include Commonweal Theatre Company (Zombies from the Beyond -- Major Malone) and Paul Bunyan Playhouse (Into the Woods -- Narrator/Mysterious Man).  Al has also toured nationally with Troupe America (The Fantastics -- Mortimer).

Elizabeth Ghandour (Katrin) - "I Remember Mama" is Elizabeth's first New Breath production. She has been doing theater and music around the twin cities area and someday soon, would like to make a living from musical theater/opera. She would like to thank her family and friends for supporting her in this journey.

Maya Trujillo Gitch (Youth Ensemble) - An Edina fourth grader, Maya loves to be onstage whether it’s playing violin, dancing, or singing.  She previously appeared in regional productions of A Christmas Carol and Here’s Love.  Maya has also performed with The Gilbert & Sullivan Very Light Opera Company in Princess Ida, and played “Clarissa” in The History Theatre’s production of Orphan Train, featured on National Public Radio.  Last summer she had fun being a boy in New Breath’s production of Oliver! and is very happy to be back again this year.  Maya thanks her family and friends for coming today!

Megan Hackman (Youth Ensemble) - This is Megan’s first production with New Breath. Most of her other theatre experience has been with Ashland Productions. Some of her favorite roles include the Narrator in Joseph and Taylor Mckessie in High School Musical. Megan is a sophomore at Hill Murray and intends to participate in the theatre program this upcoming year.

Timm Holmly (Uncle Chris) - Timm returns to the New Breath stage after appearing last year as Mr. Bumble and xxx in Oliver. He was previoiusly appeared as the fun-loving Toad in New Breath's production of Wind In The Willows . Some of Timm's favorite roles have been Teen Angel in Grease, Pharaoh in Joseph...., Tinman in Oz, and Daddy Warbucks in Annie, just to name a few. An accomplished vocalist, Timm has recorded 3 CD's, and sings jazz with the talented jazz pianist, David Hamilton. Thanks to Kevin Werner, and the Kemps, for their support, and always, Steven, for believing in my dream.
