Annaliese Phidd (Youth Ensemble) - Annaliese, age 10, studies acting, dance, and voice, and loves performing in her first role with New Breath Productions!  Other favorite shows include Brooklyn with Midwest Youth Dance Theater, Twinderella with Vienna Community Arts, High School Musical with Youth Performance Company, and many dance recitals. 

Charlie Platt (Ensemble) - Charlie is in 8th grade, attending Ramsey Junior High in St. Paul. He has been involved with New Breath for three years, performing in Rags and Wind in The Willows. He has also been in the Macalester Plymouth United Church chapel choir for four years, and Ramsey Junior High’s production of “The Complete Works of William Shakespeare Abridged.” Charlie would like to thank his family, and the whole cast and crew of Oliver. Stephen Sporer (Mr. Sowerberry, Mr. Brownlow and Ensemble) - A recent arrival to the Twin Cities after living in New York, Stephen is excited to mark his first performance in the region with a New Breath Productions (he's an Iowa native!). Favorite past roles/shows include: "Roger" (William Finn's A New Brain), "Conrad Birdie" (Bye Bye Birdie), "Orin/Dentist" (Little Shop of Horrors), Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris. Numerous performances/readings of new works in Manhattan venues including The Zipper Theater and The Manhattan Supper Club. Theater study: Sarah Lawrence College, New York. Thanks for everyone's involvement and dedication with this production.

Austin Stanley (Youth Ensemble) - Austin is a 5th grader at Park Spanish Immersion and is excited to be in his first production with New Breath. Austin appeared in his first play last winter at Steppingtone Theatre as Hobie in The Best Christmas Pageant Ever. Austin has also taken acting classes at Steppingstone and Stages. Austin plays violin and piano and he also sings with his school and church choirs, sometimes as a soloist. Austin plans to continue acting and his goal is to appear someday on Broadway.

Chris Stanley (Youth Ensemble) - Chris is a 7th grader at St. Louis Park Jr. High. He is making his acting debut with New Breath this year. Chris is very involved in music. In addition to belonging to his school choir, Chris has played piano, upright bass and electric bass guitar for a number of years. He has begun composing music and looks forward to a career as a professional musician.

Alex Sundvall (Youth Ensemble) - Alex is 10 years old and very excited to be in his first New Breath Production!  A relative newcomer to the scene, his previous work includes a supernumerary role in the Minnesota Opera’s The Grapes of Wrath. Alex also studies piano and is involved with “Project Opera”, a youth opera performance group with the Minnesota Opera. Alex has had a great time working on this project and looks forward to many more productions in the future!

Lara Trujillo (Widow Corney) - Lara is very happy to be working with New Breath Productions for the first time, and thrilled to be performing with her three favorite young ladies: Lyndsay, Madeleine, and her daughter Maya.  Lara has previously performed with The Minnesota Opera, The Gilbert & Sullivan Very Light Opera Company, Minnesota Festival Theater, Bloomington Civic Theatre, and The Great American History Theatre.  Favorite experiences include My Way: a Tribute to Frank Sinatra at the Ordway Center and Chanhassen Dinner Theatre’s production of HAIR at The Pantages.  She is immensely grateful to the family and friends who continually offer their love, support, and encouragement.
