Who We Are:
Artistic Associates
Our Founder & History Board Of  Directors Managing  Director Artistic Associates
Who We Are Kenny Kiser was the founder New Breath Productions prior to becoming an Artistic Associate. New Breath was founded in response to the need he saw for artists to have opportunities to hone their craft in a safe, nurturing, and inspiring environment.  In addition to his work with New Breath, he has performed with Theatre de la Jeune Lune, Chanhassen Dinner Theatres, The Minnesota Opera, Northstar Opera, and The James Sewell Ballet.  He  has also served as director/choreographer/music director with the Minnesota OperaVenture, StageCoach Theatre Arts School, MacPhail Center for Music, and Macalester Plymouth United Church.  Currently, Kenny  maintains a voice and piano studio while working for HealthPartners, Inc. and taking classes & performing opportunities that interest him.

Christina Baldwin was one of the founding board members of New Breath Productions before becoming an Artistic Associate.  Christina most recently appeared at  Theatre de la Jeune Lune in Maria de Bueons Aires and also in Carmen, Circus of Tales, Figaro, The Man Who Laughs, Cosi Fan Tutte and The Magic Flute.  She has been a soloist with The Minnesota Orchestra and has worked with other companies such as The Guthrie Theater, Kansas City Repertory Theater, The Great American History Theatre, North Star Opera, Nautilus-Music Theater, New Breath Productions, Ex Machina and The Minnesota Opera.  Christina received a Bachelor of Music degree from Lawrence University Conservatory of Music and a Master of Music Degree from the University of Minnesota.

Erik E. Paulson feels pleased to be working with New Breath Productions. Designing lights and scenery for Acis and Galatea, Whistle Down the Wind, and On the Other Side has felt very rewarding for him. Currently he is a designer, technical director, and building project manager. He is fresh from adventures as technical director for the inaugural season of the Great River Shakespeare Festival (A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Winter’s Tale) and technical director and scenic designer for Great American History Theatre (A Servants’ Christmas, Under the Stars and Stripes, Christmas Schooner, Hush Hush). Erik has also designed lights and sets with companies without the word “Great” in them, including North Star Opera, Cheap Theatre, Riverfront Corporation, InterAct, and Arena (not that they all don’t deserve the term “Great”).
