Bio: Alexa is passionate about mind, body, and spirit wellness and helping others find ways to connect with God. She works during the day as an Account Manager within the restaurant supply business and outside of that at In Him Christian Wellness as a Spiritual Director and Coping Skills Specialist. Combining all the tools she has found along the way to work one on one with individuals, Alexa helps sit with others, seek God’s presence, design coping strategies, encourage life rhythms, and set goals for mental, physical, and spiritual health. Bio: Angela earned her MDiv from Princeton Theological Seminary and her doctoral degree from St. John’s University. Angela integrates her work with contemplative practices through literary exercises, diary writing, and imaginative prayer, and she knows The Holy Spirit is the Ultimate Guide.

Bio: I discovered spiritual direction when I burnt out from being a “worker bee” at church and knew there had to be “something more.” My ensuing journey with the Trinity led me to become a director, desiring to help those who are currently in or out of a worship community to deepen their own walk with the Loving Creator. I recently moved from my thirty-year home in York, PA to Saratoga Springs, NY where I now live with my husband and from which I travel to visit my three grown children and two “grand-dogs.”

Bio: Leslie is an ordained ELCA pastor, with a specialized call to Spiritual Direction since 2009. She is trained in the Ignatian Retreat in Everyday Life (The 19th Annotation), and is a member of Spiritual Directors International. Leslie is part of the Planning Team of the Spiritual Director Circle of the Greater Philadelphia Region, for which she also facilitates an online reading group for the enrichment and networking of Spiritual Directors. Bio: Mike Allwein has lived in Gettysburg for nearly 20 years. Mike is most recently retired from St. James Lutheran Church, after 45 years of active ministry. Mike and his wife, Lois, have two sons, a daughter-in-law, two grandsons and one granddaughter. Mike holds a BS in Secondary English Education and an MS in Community Counseling, as well as an M.Divinity degree. He is a Board-Certified Counselor and a Certified Spiritual Director. He has an active Spiritual Direction practice. Mike spends as much time as possible on the tennis courts, loves writing, reading poetry, exploring nature, riding his e-bike on the back country roads where he lives.
